I can not express the feeling I had when seeing him in Springfield, IL and in here in St. Louis, MO and to see him become the first Black President, I broke down like a baby. Your mom hit the nail on the head with her feelings. Thanx Clarence and "Ma Dukes" for allowing us to listen in on this wonderful conversation. Sorry for the late response brotha, this will not happen again.

That was cool to hear your mom's perspective on this. One of the things I love about Obama being elected is that he was elected on a premise of hope vs. fear. Your Mom's observation is appropriate; he's an encourager and a motivator. Peace...

I had a cold walk this morning from the mechanic over at Belmont and Somerville Ave to the office at 2 Arrow in Harvard Sq. But it was a beautiful morning—with the sun shining outside and memories, thoughts and impressions of Ma Dukes coming in over my headphones. I got to have some more of the inauguration, which I could not myself get to. Like what you said at the end, Clarence, "Seeing it through your eyes was almost a better experience for me." And as I think I've said before I enjoy the rapport between the two of you. You are cut from the same cloth and it is fun to see it. Peace....
