TRUTH? I have a low tolerance for anything that I consider ignorant. Especially cats who are employed by spots that offer services to the community (and don’t do their job well — if at all). Get down with me as I recount a tale of hot mess that recently occurred with me.

Well, I’m white and I get plenty of poor service. Boston is a fairly racist city, but I think the vast majority of the crappy attitudes you (and I) encounter have more to do with general rudeness and apathy than anything else.
Similar incident happened to me a few years ago with a bus driver in Toronto. Only thing was, the bus driver let me on the bus, but told the three Somalian teenagers behind me that she “didn’t want them on her bus.”
I told her what I thought of that, and got off the bus and helped the youth file a complaint with the transit authority. Found out later that when the bus driver was confronted with the complaint, she said that she could choose who she wanted on her bus because “she was born here and they weren’t.”
Needless to say, she was sacked.
Ditto!
The problem as to why many people experience this is LACK of TRAINING and lack of professionalism. Every day I experience something like this but I have learned throughout my life to be sincere and nice and then the evil eyes or the confusion goes away and the person begins to be cordial. Many times it is how you approach a person and even if you are nice some people are still RUDE so this is why they need to be trained or FIRED.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I enjoyed the music. Sweet!
Happy Holidays to you and the family! See you in the 0-8!
give ‘em hell, c!!!
That is messed up but I am glad you complained. I had a similar experience in NYC with a Taxi. By the time I finished, the taxi driver was paying at $200 fine! Please let everyone know how this ends.
Peace
