Whenever I meet new people, one of the first things they ask me regarding Do You KNOW Clarence? is what I do. Maybe the assumption is that since I’ve developed this brand, I must do something that warrants spotlighting myself with a clever tagline. Quite simply, my whole hustle is that, “I do me“.
Using every possible platform for thought and creativity, (within my spheres of interest), I hope to connect with other cats in the world who value whatever form of expression I get down with. This includes writing, spoken word, photographs, and eventually film.
In time, I would like to break it down like these true pioneers of original flavor formations — Langston Hughes, Petey Greene, Gordon Parks, and Muhammed Ali. To be recognized for how I live, rather than what I do, strikes me as the surest way to know I can make an impact in the world around me.

Just make a Facebook group and a special Twitter aggregator and Truth! will prevail.
Also, /sarcasm.
Keep the fight!
Don’t forget MC Hammer. Long after pop culture moved on, he’s still doing his thing, and his blog is actually quite insightful.

Chris, While I don’t aspire to be like MC Hammer (and don’t view him on the same level as I would Hughes, Greene, Parks, and Ali), I can appreciate the fact he he is still doing him. ‘Preciate the link.
You see me nodding my head over here…
Hi there Clarence.
I just found your site because of C.C. Chapman’s tweet over at Twitter.
“… recognized for how you live… not for what you do…” That’s a great line.
Kind regards

Hi there Clarence.
Just slurped down your podcasts via iTunes… looking forward to catching up with them… and reviewing them at my blog.
