TRUTH? I’m looking to rock with this ASAP. It drops May 11th. Support these young cats using hip-hop to find their voice and get their mentals right. There’s a little bit of hip-hop in all of us. Let it marinate.

I’ve known this cat Keith Yan since about 2001. Back then my man was on some next-level design ish. TRUTH? I used to soup off his knowledge about animation, graphic design, and he single-handedly introduced me to the whole concept of new media (before cats started droppin’ the Web 2.0 syntax).
Now Keith is about to graduate from NYU’s grad-program after completing one of the most boss-level animation projects I’ve ever seen. I’m proud to know this cat. Proud to be encouraging his creative hustles for as long as I’ve known him. I’m definitely proud to be clueing you cats in on his work. Get down with his latest project Per Capita. TRUTH? I can’t wait to see what he kicks out next.

Last night, I dreamt that Ask A Ninja was a brutha with a huge afro and a Black Fist Afro Pik in it, lookin’ very Huey Newton — the webcast was dubbed “Ask A Nigga“…
It’s the end of an era…I just cancelled my Tivo service. I’ve been rockin’ tivo since late ‘99 — I remember tellin’ cats everywhere I had learned how to watch TV smarter, and it’s the same line I slid my skeptical wife when trying to sell her on the service.
Seven years and two Tivos later (the second model was DVDR/DVDRW — let that marinate) we’ve had to press on. No longer do we need to get down with a unit that learns our viewing habits, we know what we like and where to find it. We’ve mastered the art of watching TV without surfing TV and the new Comcast DVR supplements our viewing hustle accordingly.
TRUTH? Eyes on the prize with this Comcast Tivo DVR tag-team unit that will hopefully drop soon. Until then I’ll be watching…
