It’s been a long time since I’ve had a steady TV viewing hustle. In the course of a week, I probably watch 5 or 6 hours maximum. Most of that comes from the seasonal format of the shows I get down with. Beyond that, television is no longer a staple in my mode. I’ll admit that Netflix continues to supply my demand for films, but, thats different!
As I get older, I find that I have less patience for TV and have incorporated a number of other hustles to replace the mind-numbing sit-down that has become television viewing for Me. All of that changed on Christmas day, however. I watched so much TV that it made me stupid. I’m sure this side effect is temporary, but, it’s a trip on the annoying side.
TRUTH? I can’t wrap my mentals around a coherent thought to save my life right now. Television should be taken in small doses! The mind you save may be your own!

And they say comic books rot your brain.
LOL! I want to disagree with you brah, but I cannot. I know I only have a few functioning brain cells remaining and I can shamelessly blame it on that funky box of mine at home. It doesn’t help that I’ve got them stratetically placed in 4 rooms around the house.. geez!
So, YouTube then? ;-)
Waiting to hear you weigh in on avatars in sl, on this most oblivious day of the year for white americans. Seriously, would love to hear what *you* have to say about sl, race, and mlk as there seems to be a bit of discussion going on today.
That’s why we killed our TV signal last year. We just use Blockbuster.com for videos, PodCasts for enterntainment, news and info, my wife reads the newspaper cover to cover everyday, and I’ve got a bucket load of news feeds on my main page.
That mind-numbing search for something that was on somewhere just got so *&&*#%$% tedious that we killed it. Combine that with getting tired of trying to find new ways to encourage our three kids to do something else with their down time than channel surf, and you’ve got our recipe for dumping the signal.
